Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often. For anything else, write to us.

Where is my data stored?

With the SaaS offer, all your data is hosted exclusively in Canadian data centers. With Community or the Enterprise edition, KeyHarbour is installed on your servers: your data never leaves your infrastructure.

What is the difference between Community, SaaS and the Enterprise edition?

Community is free, open source, and installs on your servers. The SaaS offer is hosted in Canada and operated by IkigaiLab: nothing to install. The Enterprise edition also installs on your servers and adds the full web interface, single sign-on (SSO) and priority support.

Is there any vendor lock-in?

No. KeyHarbour follows open standards and uses the native Terraform backend protocol. Your data stays retrievable at any time, without losing access or compatibility.

Does KeyHarbour integrate with existing tools?

Yes. KeyHarbour connects to Terraform and to your CI/CD pipelines. Our REST API and CLI let you automate exchanges with your own tools.

How do we import our existing data?

Two options: a CSV file import, to get started quickly, or the API, for teams that automate.

What security measures are in place?

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. The platform includes audit logs and access controls. The Enterprise edition adds single sign-on (SSO).

Is customer support available?

Yes. Our team helps with setup, migration and integration. The Enterprise edition includes priority support.
